Synopsis :This is an exhibition of some 120 works from Kelantan, and is a collection of realist, abstract and batik works, Islamic art, sculptures, figurines and more.

The exhibition is also a tribute to early modern art artists like Nik Zainal Abidin Salleh and others like Khalil Ibrahim,  Ismail Mat Hussin, Fauzan Omar, Ahmad Shukri and Roslisham Ismail.

The works have been gathered from collections at the Balai Seni Lukis Negara, Balai Seni Lukis Kelantan, Persatuan Pelukis Kelantan, UITM Kelantan, AZ Gallery and also from artists, of all ages and styles, living in Kuala Lumpur and Kota Bharu. 

The opening will be officiated by Puan Sri Datin Seri Dato' Akmal Abdul Salam, on Thu, 31 Jan 2008 at 5pm. 
There will also be an art talk prior to this, at 3pm.

makan was very fulfeeling.. if i can eat that sculpture too...
anyway i'm not an art critic.. if i can eat that sculpture too...

gesekan rebab dan suara haunting che mat telah memanggil seluruh angin berkumpul di NAG petang tu, tak puas rasanya, aku bayang kan semasa peristiwa itu berlaku sekumpulan penari penari berjale dari atas melalui putaran tangga secara perlahan, sambil menabur bunga melor yang harum baunya, asyiknya... Bumi Angin namanya pun dah begitu menyeru...setelah meninjau perjalanan seni tampak Kelantan di ruang galeri ternyata bumi angin itu adalah bumi yang penuh misteri, penuh gelora, penuh insani seni yang berpegang pada jati diri bumi sendiri. Tahniah! Cuma katalog nya agak stereotyped.
